	Declination of numerals / Склонение числительных      As you may know, nouns and adjectives in Russian language can change according to the 12 "cases" (12 падежей): The Nominative - Именительный падеж, The Genitive - Родительный падеж, The Dative - Дательный падеж, The Accusative - Винительный падеж, The Instrumental - Творительный падеж, The Prepositional - Предложный падеж. Именительный падеж отвечает на вопросы Кто / Что ? Родительный падеж отвечает на вопросы Кого / Чего ? Дательный падеж отвечает на вопросы Кому / Чему ? Винительный падеж отвечает на вопросы Кого / Что ? Творительный падеж отвечает на вопросы Кем / Чем ? Предложный падеж отвечает на вопросы О ком / О чем ?      One of the difficult tasks is modifying numerals, especially long: 3+ digits. As tests have shown, almost 90% of both - foreigners and native Russian speakers - make mistakes when modifying Russian numerals. Instead of saying: "Я пошел в магазин с тремястами двадцатью семью рублями.", most people say "Я пошел в магазин с триста двадцать семью рублями", which is a mistake.      This is why I have created a simple utility that allows visitors see the correct form of absolutely any numeral between 1 and 9999. Enter any number within that range and press "Show". The correct forms will be listed in the window below.
